DW worked with International Riding Helmets to design a variety of lightweight, low profile equestrian helmets, from entry-level models to those for the higher performance rider. The helmets were based around expanded foam impact liners, a technology borrowed from the bicycle helmet industry for its low weight and cost savings. A comfortable sizing system was developed alongside a hidden venting system for a helmet that feels good to wear.
