For the development of a cost-effective gamma imaging camera for the clinical environment that would compete directly with larger, more established companies, DW was tasked with product image, ergonomics and the design of all covers for fixed and moving components. Both technician and patient ergonomics were carefully considered, affecting the design of features such as the supporting articulated bed and the operator hand controller. A high degree of fit and finish was achieved with the custom formed panels, resulting in simplified assembly procedures and maintenance.
