eSight Corporation approached DW with sophisticated augmented reality technology for the visually impaired, where video is captured, processed to account for various types of vision loss, and then displayed on screen in the blink of an eye. A second generation headset was designed to house the technology, driving a component compacting exercise to fit everything in. It can be adjusted for things like various pupillary distances and head sizes for a comfortable fit, and was designed for those with visual impairments to easily put on and operate.
